Marks & Spencer is launching a new clothing repair service to reduce textile waste. This program, named “M&S Fixed by Sojo,” will start in August in collaboration with the start-up Sojo and will be accessible via an online hub.
The services offered include repairs such as zipper replacements and invisible mending of knits, starting from £5, with turnaround times of 7 to 10 days.
M&S will also introduce the brand “Another Life” to group all its circularity services, including beauty product recycling and clothing donations with Oxfam.
Richard Price, Managing Director of Clothing & Home at M&S, stated that this service makes it easy to extend the life of M&S quality clothing. Josephine Phillips, CEO of Sojo, added that this partnership will make repairs accessible to everyone.
