MediaMarkt-Saturn has launched a new pop-up shop in the university town of Tübingen, showcasing its sustainable “BetterWay” range.
This initiative aligns with the upcoming Due Diligence Directive and rising consumer expectations for environmentally friendly products.
The store, which opened on May 2, features refurbished items and exclusive online marketplace products.
This venture not only introduces customers to sustainable electronics but also integrates online offerings into a physical retail space, marking a strategic move in the company’s omnichannel approach.
According to COO Hubert Kluske, this pop-up store is part of a broader “Experience Electronics” strategy, set to expand to other German cities, enhancing customer interaction with sustainable solutions and recycling opportunities.
