On 3 June 2021, the world’s largest store entirely devoted to the Harry Potter saga opened at 935 Broadway, New York. 

A savvy mix of museum and boutique, the store spans 1,850 square metres over three floors and offers an immersive experience, including a visit to Hogwarts and Diagon Alley, where Harry and his friends buy their school supplies each year.

Accessories from the films are on display throughout the store, such as the main characters’ wands and some of Voldermort’s horcruxes, including Tom Riddle’s diary and Ravenclaw’s diadem.

Not only can visitors see them up close, but they can also scan the code next to the items via the Harry Potter Fan Club app to obtain information on the displays and use this to solve an enigma and collect a prize at the till.

The store is brimming with possibilities for fans, like trying on Hagrid’s boots, taking a trip to the Ministry of Magic inside a red phone box, or being transported by the Floo Network in the lift.

And to top it all off, an interactive wand table for wizardly duels!
